The Negotiator Magazine Reader Survey on Negotiation
October 2004
This is the first negotiation survey of readers of The Negotiator Magazine. I hope that you will participate. Preliminary trials found that the survey can be completed in approximately 5-10 minutes. The survey will be recorded and tallied electronically by an outside testing firm to assure accuracy of the results and anonymity of all the respondents. Only aggregate results will be tallied. Individual results will not be examined or retained. Survey results will be published at a future date in the magazine.
Some questions test the assumption that negotiators are by definition significant leaders and influencers of others. Some seek your views on gender issues. Others go to the practice of negotiation by asking about time spent in preparation, the prevalence of ethical behavior or the frequency of collaborative negotiation. A few questions ask for your advice about the magazine itself.
Thank you for participating.
